Candy seeds are seeds that can be used to grow candy. Princess Bubblegum sends them to the Earl of Lemongrab and his clone after they use up all of their food creating candy life in "All Your Fault." When Finn and Jake deliver the seeds, the Lemongrabs promptly squish them all together and pour Candy life formula on the mass, creating Seed-Wad.
